Bristlecone Construction was selected by the Columbine Knolls Recreation District to replace the existing 53 year old pool building. 

The new building will include a family bathroom and a community room in addition to update including locker rooms, conference rooms, administration offices and snack bar.

The project will be delivered using design/build method and will begin September 2017 with a scheduled completion date of May 2018.

The Sol High Project features 45 market rate apartment units with ground level parking garage and outdoor space on each level. 

Bristlecone Structures is providing turnkey concrete construction of a 15,000 sf one level podium for the new multi-family development. The concrete cost is just over $1,000,000.

The Catalyst Headquarters Building is a building that will “look and feel like a Colorado building” and is the first phase of a multi-phase project in the RiNo District of Denver. 

Bristlecone Construction Structures division completed 30,000 sf of foundations for two buildings on caissons, one that has a structural steel frame and one that is precast concrete with topping slabs on both. The concrete contract value was $3,000,000.

The project will be completed thrid quarter of 2017.

The Beck Group is the General Contractor for the project.

Alto Apartments is an affordable living development made of up 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units totaling 70-units. The project is located near a Transit Oriented Development station, making the location easily accessible to downtown Denver, grocery stores, schools, medical facilities and more. 

Bristlecone Construction Structures division completed the 46,000 sf post tension podium for a new multi-family complex in Westminster, Colorado.

The foundation system is caissons with grade beams walls columns and some structural slabs on void. The concrete contract value was $2,200,000.

Swinerton Builders is the General Contractor for the project. 

The project will be completed in October 2017.

The Sloan’s Lake Flats Project has been designed for young professionals in terms of location and unit size. The project features 82-micro units, 44 below grade parking spaces and 6,000 sf of retail on the first floor.  

Bristlecone Structures provided turnkey concrete construction of a 17,000 sf  2-story podium for a new multi-family development. The contract value was $1,760,000

The project will be completed in summer 2017.

Catamount Constructors was the General Contractor for the project.

Bristlecone Construction served as the General Contractor for the first phase of the historic renovation project in the heart of downtown Denver.

The project started off with the demolition of the existing spaces and followed with the renovation of the retail facade, basements and the 17th street lobby. in order to complete this project, structural floor infills were needed to add square footage to the existing retail space, new grease ducts were installed for the existing restaurants and all new electrical gear and connections serving the building were installed. 

Phase 1 was completed in five months.

Bristlecone Construction served as the General Contractor and was responsible for the complete demolition and renovation of a 4,000 square foot historic building in the heart of downtown Littleton. Most of the renovations occurred on the interior of the building except for the replacement of the front and rear facades.

The building was divided into two spaces, one side housing a restaurant and the other housing an office space. 

The project took 12 weeks to complete.

Bristlecone Construction received the Outstanding Achievement Award for restoring the exterior of a portion of the historic Culp Block to its original appearance.

Observatory Flats, Dublin Development's latest project, is a new, $11m, 5-story for sale condo project in the University of Denver neighborhood.

Observatory Flats will feature a fitness center and rooftop deck overlooking the DU campus with views of Downtown Denver and the Front Range.

The condos at Observatory Flats range from 600 to 1000 square feet and will feature quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances with prices starting in the low $300,000s.

The project will be completed late 2018.

Bristlecone Construction recently completed the framing renovation for Fransen Pittman for the Welborn House, an iconic structure on the Colorado Academy Campus. The Bristlecone Structures department was responsible for the addition and exterior renovation of the 120 year old administrative building used to house alumni operations, admissions office, ballroom and classroom. The project took one month to complete.

Generation Development’s latest project is a 29-unit, new luxury apartment building 1300 N. Ogden, Denver, CO. The project will integrate the existing  1930’s car shop with the new structure.

This project will feature a 5-story luxury podium structure mixing one, two and three bedroom for sale condominiums. The largest unit will be 2,400 square feet.

Special project features include:
- Rooftop deck
- Existing garage will turn into a parking garage
- Wood framed construction with metal panel siding and stucco
- Top is the penthouse with high end finishes

Bristlecone Structures will complete concrete and framing for the project in addition to providing General Contracting Services.

Bristlecone Construction was selected by the City of Lakewood to renovate Founders Park in Lakewood, Colorado. 

The project scope included demolition of playground equipment, timber edger and sand, basketball goal, concrete walkway, sod stripping, minor earthwork and grading, subgrade prep, new concrete play area and mow curbs, walkways, basketball court, mow curbs, play area drainage and gravel, new play equipment and surfacing, shelter, basketball goal, tables, benches, bike rack, barbecue grill, landscaping, mulch, irrigation modifications and sodding. 

In addition, the existing playground was expanded 20,000 sf and includes two new playgrounds and a half-court basketball court. 

The project took 60 days to complete.

Bristlecone Structures completed foundation work for a variety of projects for Layton Construction at Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Denver, Colorado.

Concrete work included mat slabs for equipment, slabs on grade, slabs on deck and equipment pads.

Bristlecone Structures performed the foundation for the new addition to Swedish Hospital for Layton Construction.

Foundations included caissons, grade beams, and a structural slab.

Cavalier Apartments

As the General Contractor for his project, Bristlecone Construction will renovate the existing 220-unit, 226-bed Cavalier Apartments in Boulder, Colorado and add another 96-beds.

The project cost is estimated at $9m and includes an extensive site package in addition to the renovation and a resort style club house and pool. This project is the latest development partnership with Brickstone Partners, Studio Architecture and Bristlecone Construction.

As part of the Eliot Street Apartments project, Bristlecone Structures is constructing a below grade parking structure on caissons with two post tension slabs.  There is 25,000 of elevated deck on a postage stamp site including one siding concrete walls against beam and lagging shoring system in addition to two sided walls on caissons.

 

Warwick Hotel

Bristlecone Construction completed the renovation of this classic Denver Hotel for the Warwick International Hotel Corporation.  The project completely updated and revitalized the rooftop pool deck, part of the former Playboy Club.  The new pool features a state of the art stainless pool.

Jefferson Park Apartments is an $11m, 72-unit, 5-story multifamily development within the proximity of the popular Highlands Neighborhood. Adams Development, a local residential and mixed use developer, alongside Bristlecone Construction is committed to creating creative living spaces and finishes unique to the market.
 
Featuring beam and lagging shoring for below grade parking structure, the first floor will feature high end retail with two additional floors of market rate apartments complete with a spectacular rooftop deck. This project features an almost full brick veneer façade with an extensive scaffolding package to keep the public safe in this downtown environment while keeping our crews productive.

Marine Park

Marine Park is known as the heart of Boulder, CO, located on Broadway. Bristlecone Construction completely remodeled the interior and exterior of the existing 92 apartment units. The existing structure and framing was kept, however, all interior finishes were replaced and mechanical / electrical / plumbing upgrades included new boilers in each tower.

This was a complex project. Half of the building remained occupied during construction. Bristlecone successfully worked with the City of Boulder for requirements on code upgrades and the unknowns of a remodel to complete this project ahead of schedule. The project cost was $5m.
